It's been years since I've seen an episode, but it's nice to hear the same sense of the children being proud of their dad was there. That has always been the backbone of Chan stories.Tim DeForesthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13196984835550136464noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4211129077653388496.post-51695399046468508502016-08-11T20:15:36.074-04:002016-08-11T20:15:36.074-04:00I enjoyed the clip. There was nothing like those late 40's black and white dramas.

Keye Luke provided the voice of Charlie Chan for H-B's "Amazing Chan and the Chan Clan" series. There is a wonderful song from one of the soundtracks of that show--"I'm the Number One Son of the Number One Man". Nice affirmation of family values.

I really enjoyed this brief scene. I'll keep an eye out for the full movie.

BTW, really enjoying "The Buccaneers" series which I didn't even know about until you posted on it. This is great stuff! Keep it coming!scarecrow33https://www.blogger.com/profile/10552306802823617940noreply@blogger.com
