Cover Cavalcade
I'm not a huge fan of Gold Key's awkward attempt to bring Star Trek to comics, but this is a weirdly entertaining cover nonetheless.
Hey Tim, here's a link to a hilarious podcast on the Gold Key adaptations of Star Trek. It features some hilarious examples of how the writers simply didn't understand the source material, like nuking an entire planet because they couldn't manage its population, or Kirk appearing in an afro! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zgW0Jc9UHBg
It sounds like fun. I'll give it a listen. Also, I've gradually become much more of a fan of Gold Key Trek over the years, enjoying it for what it is without trying to connect it to the TV series too deeply.
