Cover Cavalcade
A cover from 1971 by an unidentified artist. I didn't know ghosts got thirsty.
Great cover! Apparently Harvey ghosts could drink. Sometimes it shows their insides filling up with water. One time the Ghostly Trio drank some pink poison that turned them pink. They quickly took an antidote. But if they're already ghosts...oh, well. It never pays to overthink a Casper story. I used to collect this title. Nightmare was one of my favorite characters. But strangely in the comics Nightmare was female, whereas in the cartoons Nightmare was male. Maybe they were an identical twin ghost horse brother and sister? Who knows?
I think a Night--MARE makes more sense as a female, but what do I know? The Marvel Comics villain called Nightmare is a male, so I guess it depends on how you interrupt the name.
