Nick Carter: “A Cat Brings Death” 4/15/44
Nick takes on the apparently banal task of finding a stolen cat, but that case snowballs into a dangerous hostage situation. Despite at one point depending on a coincidence rather than Nick’s detective skill to move the plot along, this episode is unusual and fun.
Besides, Nick Carter was a consistently well-written show, so they could get away with tossing in an occasional coincidence.
