Cover Cavalcade


I'm not a huge fan of Lin Carter's fiction, but Frank Frazetta gave us a fantastic cover for this particular novel.

    Poor Lin Carter. I read a lot of his stuff back in the 70s. I read a lot of his stuff before I realized all he did was imitate R.E.H, E.R.B, and H.P. Lovecraft.

    I read that his final days weren't very pretty.

    Carter was a great editor with excellent taste in good stories. Whenever he put together an anthology, it would be full of great stories EXCEPT for the ones he himself wrote.
