Cover Cavalcade
Yes, the Gold Key adaptation of Star Trek was poorly done for the most part--but dang if they didn't produce some bizarrely entertaining covers.

ReplyDeleteI've come to appreciate the Gold Key Star Trek stories much more since I posted this.
DeleteOne thing that can be said about it was that it kept the franchise alive with original stories in the 1970s right up to the 1979 reboot, even if those stories were wildly off-canon.
