Glad you mentioned Spy Smasher, it's one of the best serials out there. Honorable mention should go to The Secret Code, which featured the Black Commando. Not a comic book hero, but still a great serial from Columbia.
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad Doc Savage never made a serial, The Spider did, and those two are a lot of fun as well.
Great job on the video!
A well-made Doc Savage serial would have been a joy to watch. I really don't know why he never made it to the screen--he was a close second behind the Shadow among Street and Smith pulp heroes.
